The invention relates to mechanical devices for atomizing liquids, for producing fog in rooms, for moistening the air in weaving rooms and in greenhouses and for sterilizing medical premises with the aid of bactericidal solutions. The technical result of the invention is to prevent circular instability at increased generation frequencies and to produce droplets of 30 - 40 μm. The technical result is achieved in that, in the pneumo-acoustic rod-shaped atomizer, the central rod has a diameter equal to the diameter of the nozzle, and longitudinal grooves in the central rod are arranged at distances not exceeding a quarter of the wavelength of the working frequency of the atomizer, wherein the depth of the grooves on the central rod, the width t thereof, the quantity n, the generation frequency f, the width of a resonant flute of the pneumo-acoustic rod-shaped atomizer and the distance between an annular gas nozzle H and the bottom of the annular resonator are selected from the ratios: S=n⋅δ⋅t, where: S is the total cross section of the grooves at a specified gas production rate; 12.5≤f⋅δ⋅15; 1.8≤&sgr;/δ≤2.1; 7≤H/δ≤8. |
