The present invention relates to wheels of a cleaning robot, which, when in motion, maximizes the contact friction with the floor by having a maximal contact length therewith due to a reduced contact pressure-induced cross-sectional area, and allows smooth and slippage-free rolling motion by collecting residual moisture and displacing same away from the rolling surface. To that end, the tires of the wheels of the cleaning robot are made from synthetic resin foam, and the outer surfaces of the tires are provided with concave-convex contact parts so as to form water-displacement grooves. Accordingly, the present invention maximizes the contact surface area with the floor by having the tires of the cleaning robot wheels made with synthetic resin foam, and maximizes the frictional surface area and displaces the collected moisture effectively by having water-displacement grooves on the tires to collect and displace the moisture from the floor, thereby allowing a smooth and slippage-free rolling action of the wheels. |
