This fishing line guide is configured so that the strength required for the fishing line guide is assured and the fishing line guide is lightweight and has no step section which can catch on a fishing line. A fishing line guide (200) according to an embodiment comprises a mounting section (210), a support leg frame (220), a support leg (230), and a guide ring (240). The mounting section (210) has a front end and a rear end and comes into contact with a fishing rod. The support leg frame (220) extends from the rear end of the mounting section (210) and is formed integrally with the mounting section (210). The mounting section (210) and the support leg frame (220) consist of a metallic material. The support leg (230) extends from the rear end of the mounting section (210) and is combined with the support leg frame (220) along the entire length of at least the support leg frame (220). The guide ring (240) is located at the front ends of the support leg (230) and allows a fishing line to pass therethrough. A part or the whole of each of the support leg (230) and the guide ring (240) consists of a plastic material. The cross-sectional area of at least a part of the support leg frame (220) decreases toward the front end of the support leg frame (220). |
