PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a washing device for a fall object backing plate of an endless belt conveyor which can simply and safely remove accumulated objects which are accumulated on the backing plate.SOLUTION: An automatic roller inclination type water washing device for a falling object backing plate 7 of an endless belt conveyor is relevant to a removal device for removing accumulated objects which are fallen from the endless belt conveyor and are accumulated on the falling object backing plate 7, which includes hollow rollers 14 each having a rotary shaft. The rollers 14 are disposed below a return belt of the endless belt conveyor and over the entire area of the width of the return belt in such a state that a direction of each of the rotary shafts makes a right angle with respect to a direction of travel of the belt, and a center of gravity of the roller 14 is eccentric to a center of the rotary shaft. The roller 14 is opened at an upper part, and water is introduced through the opened upper part. The roller 14 further has an exhaust port. When water reaches a top face of the roller 14, the roller 14 is rotated around the rotary shaft 14 thereby discharging water through the exhaust port, and after water is discharged, the roller 14 returns to a position at the time of start of water introduction. |
