PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication device and a communication method capable of increasing reception performance of a CQI (a channel quality indicator) and a reference signal.SOLUTION: A phase table storage 112 stores a phase table in which a cyclic shift amount and a complex coefficient {w1, W2} for multiplying a reference signal are associated with each other. A complex coefficient multiplication section 113 reads out the complex coefficient corresponding to the cyclic shift amount which is indicated by resource allocation information from the phase table storage 112 and multiplies the read out complex coefficient to the reference signal to change phase relation among the reference signals in a slot.
