METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING SUBSTRATE HAVING TEXTURED STRUCTURE

A method for manufacturing a substrate having a textured structure includes: the forming of a foundation material layer (12) on a substrate (10); the forming of a foundation layer (13) having a textured pattern by using a mold having a textured pattern to transfer the textured pattern of the mold to the foundation material layer (12); and the forming of a covering layer (14) by applying a covering material onto the textured pattern of the foundation layer (13). In the forming of the covering layer (14), the covering material is applied such that the film thickness for the covering layer (14) is in a range of 25 - 150% of the standard deviation for the depth of the texture for the foundation layer (13). The substrate having a textured structure manufactured by this method has excellent light extraction efficiency and also can effectively suppress leak current in organic EL devices that use this substrate.
