In order to control an internal combustion engine that is mounted to a work machine and that is the power source for the work machine, an internal combustion engine control device uses a first iso-throttle line (EL1) that corresponds to the case of a maximum volume of fuel being injected into the internal combustion engine when the speed of the internal combustion engine is uniform and that is defined so that the output of the internal combustion engine is constant, a second iso-throttle line (EL2) that corresponds to the case of no fuel being injected into the internal combustion engine when the speed of the internal combustion engine is uniform and that is defined so that the torque (T) of the internal combustion engine decreases in accordance with an increase in the speed (n) of the internal combustion engine where the base point is the point where the torque (T) and the speed (n) of the internal combustion engine are zero, and a third iso-throttle line (EL3) that is derived from the first iso-throttle line (EL1) and the second iso-throttle line (EL2). |
