The invention relates to a process for producing at least one nanopore (28) with a predetermined diameter for sequencing a biopolymer (30). This process comprises providing at least one electrode (10) and at least two nanoparticles (16,16') in an intervening space (14) between the electrode (10) and a delimiting component (12) opposite to the electrode (10) (S1). At least the electrode (10) is then coated with an electrically conductive material with resultant mechanical fixing of the at least two nanoparticles (16, 16') in the intervening space (14), thus producing a fixed porous arrangement (24) (S2). Charging of the and/or another electrically conductive material to the fixed porous arrangement (24) permits the establishment of a predetermined diameter of at least one pore (26), i.e. the formation of the nanopore (28) (S3). The invention further relates to a process for sequencing the biopolymer (30) with the aid of a fixed porous arrangement (24) according to the invention, and to a corresponding device. |
