PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an in-cage luminaire for an elevator capable of preventing a shield plate from being removed by a mischief.SOLUTION: A plurality of side plates 2 forming the wall faces of a cage 1 are arranged with: light sources (6 and 7) for illuminating the inside of the cage 1; and a shield plate 8 covering the front faces of the light sources (6 and 7). The shield plate 8 is vertically movably arranged, and is formed at its two side ends with a recess 9a and a salient 9b acting as a first engaging part, and on the side of the side plate 2 adjoining the shield plate 8 with a second engaging part 10 to face the salient 9b when the shield plate 8 is at the push-up position. Moreover, a baseboard 13 is made detachable and is equipped on its back side with a stationary portion 14 enabled to abut against the lower end of the shield plate 8 and to fix the shield plate 8 at the push-up position. |
