PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To further improve throughput.SOLUTION: A printing device 100 is provided with printing parts 3 and 9 for printing on a printing object 50, first carrying parts 1 and 2 for carrying the printing object 50 in the main scanning direction, second carrying parts 4 and 5 for carrying the printing parts 3 and 9 in the sub-scanning direction orthogonal to the main scanning direction and a control part 16 for controlling carrying operation by the first carrying parts 1 and 2 and the second carrying parts 4 and 5, in which the control part 16 determines a carrying range by including the fact that the printing parts 3 and 9 exceed a printing finish position when the printing parts 3 and 9 print one printing area so as to become the shortest in a duration for carrying the printing parts 3 and 9 up to a printing start position where the printing parts 3 and 9 start carrying for printing on the next printing area from the printing finish position for finishing the printing on the one printing area. |
