A proximity fuse for a launchable unit, for example a missile, which includes transmitters (10<1>-13<4>) for emitting optical radiation in a plurality of narrow lobes (10<1><3>), and receivers for receiving optical radiation reflected from a target illuminated by transmitters (10<1>-13<4>) onto which the unit is homing. The receivers are capable to distinguish reflected radiation from each respective lobe relative to the radiation emitted and reflected from the other lobes. The radiation signal received from each respective lobe is individually processed in the receiver. |
