<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems for example, in an optical connector for preventing communication failure due to adhesion of dust to an optical fiber composition plane, the mechanism is complicated and thereby size and component number may increase, and dust that has adhered to the optical fiber composition plane is not removed.SOLUTION: Ferrules 40, 41 are pushed into a viscous body 20 filled in an optical interconnection sleeve 10, therefore the pressed viscous body 20 wipes tip end surfaces of the ferrules 40, 41, and then is discharged outside of the optical interconnection sleeve 10 with dust. Thereby dust on a composition plane of optical fibers 401, 411 is removed.</p> |
