PURPOSE:To provide the titled composition good in appearance of the coating film therefrom, suitable for automobile coatings, comprising a siloxy group- contg. vinyl polymer and a specific vinyl polymer carrying carboxylic acid (anhydride) group. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition comprising (A) a vinyl polymer prepared by (co)polymerization of (between) (i) 100wt.% of a vinyl monomer having in one molecule at least one polymerizable unsaturated double bond and siloxy group and (ii) 99-0wt.% of a second vinyl monomer copolymerizable with the component (i) and (B) a second vinyl polymer containing carboxylic acid (anhydride) group, with an acid value on a solid basis of >=5.0.
