A method for prevention, amelioration or treatment of purulent rhinosinusitis in a subject, comprising administering to the subject a composition comprising an effective amount of thymosin peptide, so as to treat, ameliorate or prevent purulent rhinosinusitis, wherein the composition does not contain humoral factor.
