<p>Provided is a practical technology with which it is possible to transmit video data via a wireless LAN from a transmission device having the function to process video data to a reception device provided with a display, such as a portable terminal. A transmission-side computer (100) transmits analog data, which are data of a display image displayed on a display (101), to a communication device (200) via an analog cable (101A). The communication device (200) has the function to establish wireless LAN communication by means of Wi-Fi. Compressed data, which are obtained by subjecting the analog data to time-lapse processing and then subjecting the data of each of the remaining frames (data of one image) to JPEG compression, are sent to the reception-side computer (300) having a similar function as the communication device (200). The reception-side computer (300) displays the display image on the display (301) of the reception-side computer (300) only using the image data which is obtained by decompressing the compressed data and which have no changes in size.</p> |
