PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toaster capable of closing a bread insertion port not in use and attaining compactness in use.SOLUTION: A toaster 1 includes: an opening part 18 arranged in the upper part of a body 3; a heater 25 arranged inside the body 3 and defined as a heating part for heating bread BR inserted from the opening part 18; an elevating/lowering lever 8; and a lid body 16 for openably covering the opening part 18. A lid body storage part 15A for storing the lid body 16 is arranged in the lower part of the body 3. Thus, a foreign matter such as dust is prevented from entering the inside of the body 3 from the opening 18 when the toaster 1 is not in use. Besides, the lid body 16 not in use is stored inside the body 3 to thereby provide a convenient and compact toaster. |
