PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a complex compound used for an optical recording medium having excellent recording/reproduction properties or the like.SOLUTION: There is provided a complex compound which is composed of a compound represented by the formula (I), a metal and one selected from the group consisting of an ion formed by addition of one or more protons to an amine, an ammonium ion and a quaternary ammonium ion. (where, R, R, Rand Rrepresent a hydrogen atom, an amino group which may have a substituent, an alkoxyl group which may have a substituent or the like; Rrepresents a hydrogen atom. an alkyl group which may have a substituent or the like; and a ring A is selected from the group consisting of a tetrazole ring, a benzothiazole ring, a benzoxazole ring or the like. |
