PURPOSE:To easily detect a cassette ejected on the way by a simple constitution by providing the titled mechanism with a detecting plate to be pressed and rotated by the horizontal movement of the cassette to drive a switching plate and a spring for energizing the detecting plate. CONSTITUTION:When the cassette is inserted from an insertion starting position, a pressed part 6d is pressed, the detecting plate 6 is rotated in the clockwise direction and a detecting switch 8 is turned off by rotating the disengaged switch plate 9 in the counterclockwise direction. When the cassette is pushed furthermore, a cassette holder 2 is advanced to the depth side, an ejecting switch 10 is turned off and loading is started. When the cassette is ejected under said state, the detecting plate 6 is rotated in the clockwise direction by the energization of the spring 7 and then the switch 8 is turned on, so that the ejection can be detected. Thereby, the insertion of the cassette and its ejection after starting the loading operation can be easily detected by the simple constitution and the mechanism with excellent maneuverability can be obtained.
