PURPOSE:To obtain an effective picture without using peripheral equipments by supplying television signals and color picture signals switchingly to three different color signal systems, and supplying a color picture signal to a color cathode-ray tube at the time of color screen mode to obtain a desired color. CONSTITUTION:The respective movable contact points 6c-8c of change-over switches 6-8 are connected to other fixed contact points to set up a color screen mode. The desired DC levels of output signals from red color/green color/blue color signal level setting circuits 15-17 are supplied to the three cathodes 10R, 10G, and 10B of the color cathode-ray tube 10, and a desired screen in one color can be obtained from the tube 10. In this case, a color generated by mixing the three primary colors of red, green, and blue corresponding to the adjustment through variable resistors 15R, 16G, and 17B can be obtained from the tube 10, therefore, any desired color of the color picture can be obtained by adjusting the variable resistors 15R, 16G, and 17B.
