PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make compatible a ride quality performance during normal running and a run-flat performance under a high-load factor condition.SOLUTION: A run-flat tire comprises: a pair of beads 12 in each of which a bead core 24 is embedded; sidewalls 14 connecting outside, respectively in a tire radial direction of the beads 12; a carcass 16 which straddles between the pair of beads 12, and has a main body 16A positioning between the head cores and a folding part 16B folded from inside to outside around the bead core 24; a tread 18 provided on the outside of the tire radial direction in the main body 16A; and a side reinforcing layer 22 which is disposed inside a tire width direction of the main body 16A, is composed so that a layer thickness reduces progressively toward the crown 16C of the carcass 16 and the bead 12, respectively and has 30-40% of the proportion of a gauge Gsa in the total gauge Ga of the sidewalls 14 in the area of 75-80% of a sectional height SH in the outside of the tire radial direction from the rim base line BL of the bead 12. |
