Provided is a document format conversion device, comprising: a document parsing unit which is used for parsing a layout document to acquire path primitives constituting the layout document;a path grouping unit which is used for grouping the path primitives to generate path groups;a font file generation unit which acquires the path groups used for describing characters and generates font files corresponding to the path groups used for describing characters, wherein if there are more than two path groups used for describing the same character, only one font file is generated, and that font file is associated with the more than two path groups used for describing the same character;and a document generation unit which generates a converted document using all the generated font files.Also proposed is a document format conversion method.By means of the technical solution of the present invention, the problem of data redundancy in a layout document can be solved, so that the document obtained by conversion has a smaller volume, and the problem of stream-type rearrangement display errors can also be solved, thus it is convenient to realize a better display effect on various terminals. |
