Disclosed are an application aware packet transmission method and an application aware packet transmission apparatus for effective energy use in a terminal. The application aware packet transmission method for the terminal according to the present invention includes the steps of: classifying an application based on application delay sensitivity; determining a transmission pattern of a packet to be transmitted through the application; and transmitting the packet based on the transmission pattern. According to the present invention, the transmission pattern of the packet is reflected based on the preference of the user for the application, thereby effectively managing the battery of the terminal, and preventing the user experience of the application from being degraded. |
