PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of producing a mold die which is used optimally in forming a plane light reflection parts arranged in parallel at constant intervals in a transparent flat plates.SOLUTION: A method of producing a mold die includes a first step of preparing a plurality of transparent plates 23 of specified sizes with both sides 21 and 22 being mirror surfaces and joining the transparent plates 23 temporarily by using a dicing sheet 24 or a wax melting on warming to form a laminate 25, a second step of cutting the laminate 25 with a specified width in the direction orthogonal to the lamination direction to form a slice material 27, a third step of mirror-polishing at least a cut end of one side of the slice material 27, a fourth step of releasing the temporary joining with the dicing sheet 24 or the wax to form a plurality of strip plates 14 and 15 and a fifth step of superimposing the strip plates 14 and 15 together, with their mirror-polished end surfaces mated mutually, and forming an irregular part 30 at a constant pitch in the end parts of the superimposed strip plates 14 and 15. |
