EVAPORATOR CORE STERILIZER USING UV LED

The present invention relates to a sterilizer which sterilizes bacteria and molds growing on an evaporator core of an air conditioner. UV LEDs are arranged on a front side and a back side of the evaporator core in order to directly sterilize the evaporator core. Particularly, a tetra-link type UV LED irradiation method is applied to the back side of the evaporator core. Therefore, a new type of the bacteria/mold sterilizer capable of obtaining proper irradiation distance is provided. The sterilizer can sterilize not only the surface of the evaporator but also air and thus can maximize a sterilization effect. Moreover, the sterilizer can obtain the proper irradiation distance when irradiating the surface of the evaporator core with UV rays. Consequently, the sterilizer can sterilize the whole evaporator core.
