SYSTEM FOR ELECTRICALLY CONNECTING BATTERY TO ELECTRIC VEHICLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connection system that facilitates electric connection and data connection between a battery and an electric vehicle.SOLUTION: First and second electric connectors 2402 and 2452 are designed together with a positioning mechanism which secures contact between a battery and a vehicle while a position shift between the battery and vehicle is taken into consideration. The positioning mechanism is built in a coupler of a connector. The coupler is arranged between a coupling part and a mounting part of the connector so as to fit the coupling part to the mounting part, and the coupling part is moved to and away from the mounting part on a vertical plane and a horizontal plane so as to compensate for a position shift between the first and second electric connectors 2402 and 2452. A connection system accommodates not only a power supply connector which carries electricity of high voltage, but also a data connector which carries a communication signal. The data connector is shielded so as to prevent interference caused by approach to an element of high voltage. The connection system uses neither a mechanical latch nor a lock mechanism.
