<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a document conveying device which efficiently and speedily reads a plurality of double-sided sheets of documents by providing, thereto, a conveyance means which shortens the standby time of the sheets of documents conveyed continuously. <P>SOLUTION: This document conveying device includes a first switchback part 41 for switching back a sheet of document the surfaces of which are read by an image reading part and re-conveying the sheet to the image reading part and a second switchback part 42 for switching back the sheet of document the double sides of which are read by the image reading part and discharging the sheet to a sheet discharge tray. The first switchback part 41 and the second switchback part 42 include switchback paths 45, 46 for guiding two sheets of document in the relatively reverse directions while being overlapped with each other, respectively. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
