<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maximize performance for a user to implement an access operation of a programmable controller (PLC) controlling control object devices to be united by a programming device and a common bus via an input device of the programming device and a display device thereof.SOLUTION: Password/operation limit information setting means 61 and user authentication/operation function limit means 62 are added to a system program of a programming device 10. Preliminary means 61 is used to set, in a PLC 19, a password for authentication for each user, and operation limit information 500 deciding a kind of a functional access operation to permit the user or prohibit the user from accessing among a plurality of prescribed functional access operations for each user. When the user tries the access operation to the PLC, means 62 reads the set information, requests input of the password of the user, authenticates the user, and limits the kind of the functional access operation to be implemented by the user with reference to the operation limit information.</p> |
