<p>This specification describes an apparatus for multipath routing of packets in computer networking and a use method thereof. The apparatus (router) maintains a flow forwarding table (FFT) including identifiers of active flows and related router transmission interface identifiers, and the FFT is a feature of the present invention. When a first packet representing a new flow reaches a router formed according to the present invention, the transmission interface identifier is selected by using conventional methods using routing tables. Then, packets are directed to the transmission interface according to the FFT. The routing tables are used to establish a relation between the flow identifiers in the FFT and the transmission interface.</p> |
