The invention relates to a system for mounting a rear wheel on a wheelchair, comprising: a shaft (3, 103, 203) fixedly mounted on the frame (1) or arranged such as to be fixed on the frame by a first end, and acting as a shaft for the bearings (22, 23) of the wheel (2); a device (4, 104, 204) for manual tightening using a cam lever (5, 105, 205), arranged on the second end of the shaft; and a compressible spacer (6) mounted on the shaft and axially located between the bearings and the manual tightening device. The system is particularly for the wheelchairs of disabled athletes. |
