The present invention relates to a method of recognizing a plate number in a front and rear plate number recognizing system. The method comprises the following steps. A first camera photographs a front number plate of a vehicle moving in a first direction. A first recognizing module receives a first frame including the front plate number photographed by the first camera, recognizes the front plate number from the received first frame, and transmits a first recognition number corresponding to the recognized result to a management server. A second camera photographs a rear plate number of the vehicle moving in the first direction. The first recognizing module receives a second frame including the rear plate number photographed by the second camera, recognizes the rear plate number from the received second frame, and transmits a second recognition number corresponding to the recognized result to the management server. A third camera photographs a front plate number of the vehicle moving in a second direction that is opposite direction of the first direction. A second recognizing module receives a third frame including the front plate number photographed by the third camera, recognizes the front plate number from the received third frame, and transmits a third recognition number corresponding to the recognized result to the management server. |
