PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shredder which avoids enlargement of an auto feed shredder body, improves the workability for placing shredded paper having A3 size into an external insertion port, and prevents fingers, etc. from being accidentally caught in the external insertion port.SOLUTION: A shredder includes: a housing 2; a waste paper storage part 4 which is provided at an upper part of the housing 2, and has waste paper placed thereon; a cover 3 which is provided so as to cover the waste paper storage part 4 and open and close; an anto feed mechanism 5 which is formed at a bottom part of the waste paper storage part 4 and guides the waste paper to the lower side; and a shred mechanism part 6 disposed below the anto feed mechanism 5. An external insertion port 31 of the waste paper is provided on an upper surface of the cover 3. The external insertion port 31 is formed by a pair of curved surfaces 81, 91 which gradually narrow. The curved surfaces 81, 91 have different curvatures from each other. |
