<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a conductive elastic roller, by which generation of uneven distribution of an electric resistance value in a circumference direction at an end part of an elastic layer caused in a cutting process in cross-head extrusion molding. <P>SOLUTION: The method aims to manufacture a conductive elastic roller for electrophotography having a shaft core body 202 and a conductive elastic layer covering a circumference face of the shaft core body. The method comprises: coating circumference faces of a plurality of shaft core bodies connected in series in a cross head with a continuous layer 311 of an unvulcanized rubber mixture containing conductive particles discharged from an extruder; and cutting the continuous layer by winding a cutting wire 601 around the continuous layer while allowing the cutting wire 601 to which tension is applied to intrude into the continuous layer from one point on an outer circumference in a seam of the two shaft core bodies connected in series, and moving the cutting wire from the outer circumference of the continuous layer in a direction to the shaft core body. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
