<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner for electrostatic latent image development, the toner capable of forming a favorable image even when development is carried out at a high speed, and hardly degrading developability even when the toner is stirred for a long time in a developing device. <P>SOLUTION: The toner for electrostatic latent image development comprises toner base particles containing at least a binder resin and a colorant, and organic fine particles comprising a copolymer of monomers including a styrene monomer, a (meth)acrylic monomer and divinylbenzene, adhered to the surfaces of the base particles, in which the amount of divinylbenzene in the copolymer is 10 mass% or more with respect to the total mass of the styrene monomer and the (meth)acrylic monomer. The toner for electrostatic latent image development preferably has such properties that after the toner is stirred at a stirring speed of 101 m<SP POS="POST">-1</SP>for 5 hours by Turbula mixer, an embedded rate of the organic fine particles with respect to the toner base particles is from 30 to 60%, and that a value of (boundary line length)/(total projection area) of the organic fine particles is 0.02 or more. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
