PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automate work for confirming a print result of an image by acquiring the direction of the printed image at the time of ejection of paper, the page number, and information on the direction of the record medium.SOLUTION: An image direction determination device acquires image data at the time of ejection of paper, which is a print result of an evaluation pattern image, using the evaluation pattern image having image information embedded therein. The image direction determination device performs image processing on the acquired image data, and acquires determination of the image direction at the time of ejection of the evaluation pattern image, determination of page number information which indicates what number page of the job the evaluation pattern image is, and information on whether the evaluation pattern image is a portrait image or a landscape image. When one piece of image data includes a plurality of evaluation pattern images, the image direction determination device calculates how many images are aggregated into the one. The image direction determination device performs an automatic test by outputting the above determination results. |
