<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing chafurosides at high yield by a simple method from sulfated derivative that is the precursor of the chafurosides. <P>SOLUTION: In the method for producing a tea water solution highly containing the chafurosides, the process for producing the chafurosides includes: a step (1) of making the sulfated derivative into a water solution that contains one of an acid, a base and salt, or their mixture prior to a heating step; a step (2) of adjusting the water solution to be subjected to the heating step, so that the pH of the water solution becomes 5 to 12, in the step (1); and a step (3) of heating the pH-adjusted water solution obtained through the step (2) at 100 to 150°C. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
