PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an expanded sheet which exhibits excellent shock absorbability even when the thickness thereof is very thin.SOLUTION: The expanded sheet comprises an expanded body having 30-200 μm thickness, 0.2-0.7 g/cmdensity and 10-100 μm average cell diameter. When such a state is kept that the expanded sheet is held between a supporting member and a strain detecting member, impact force is exerted on the supporting member in an impact testing device, and the strain of the strain detecting member is measured by a strain gauge, the strain restraint rate shown by the expression:(the strain restraint rate (%))={(&egr;-&egr;)/&egr;}×100 is 20% or higher (in which &egr;is the maximum strain of the strain detecting member when the impact force is exerted on the supporting member in such a state that the expanded sheet is not held between the supporting member and the strain detecting member, and &egr;is the maximum strain of the strain detecting member when the impact force is exerted on the supporting member in such a state that the expanded sheet is held between the supporting member and the strain detecting member). |
