<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a user interface device which is compact, excellent in usability, applicable to a portable electronic device and installable both inside and outside an electronic device. <P>SOLUTION: A user interface device has a holder 16 to be attached to a user. A camera 11 equipped with a wide-angle lens 112 images at least one of a shift in user's posture and a change in user's expression as a user's manner in operation.
