<p>The present invention relates to a method for assigning downlink wireless resources and a femto base station for the same capable of assigning the downlink wireless resources to a mobile terminal by adaptively changing a reference period for channel quality information received from the mobile terminal in the femto base station. According to the present invention, the method for assigning the downlink wireless resources of the mobile terminal in the femto base station comprises a step of confirming the arrival of the reference period related to the channel quality information; a step of discriminating whether the number of the mobile terminals in connection to the femto base station is changed when the reference period of the channel quality information is arrived; and a step of assigning the wireless resources executing the downlink wireless resource re-assignment for the mobile terminal by selectively referring to the channel quality information received from each mobile terminal connected to the femto base station according to the discrimination result.
