<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleaning brush capable of suppressing injection of charge into attachments attached to the surface of cleaning target member to improve electrostatic cleaning performance, and removing non-conductive attachments; and an image forming apparatus using the cleaning brush.SOLUTION: A cleaning brush 10 includes a base material 13, and brush bristles 14 formed of a plurality of brush fibers 21 raised on the base material 13, and applies a voltage to the brush bristles 14, the voltage having a reverse polarity to that of attachments attached to the surface of a cleaning target member, so as to electrostatically remove the attachments on the surface of the cleaning target member with the brush bristles 14. The brush fibers 21 each include a polymer fiber 22, a conductive layer 23 that is provided on the surface of the polymer fiber 22, and non-conductive particles fixed to at least a part of the surface of the conductive layer 23 with a polymeric resin therebetween.</p> |
