<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealing device which has a plurality of seal portions, causes no troubles among wiring operations of individual seal portions even when a seal portion executes a box motion and thus allows improvement of the productivity of item packaging and a packaging machine.SOLUTION: In a sealing device 3, seal portions 6 include a plurality of one-side seal portions 6 which are arranged on one side of a package and separated at equal intervals in a specified trajectory direction on one side and a plurality of the-other-side seal portions 6 which are arranged on the other side of the package and separated at equal intervals in a specified trajectory direction on the other side. Each of one-side and the-other-side seal portions 6 has a sealer 613 coming in contact throughout the whole area in the width direction and a to-be-guided holding part which is guided along a specified trajectory while holding the sealer 613 in such a way as to be capable of coming in contact with a package. The to-be-guided holding part is provided with a guide path along the width direction for guiding, out of the seal portion 6, a wire which is connected electrically to the sealer 613 to supply electric power to the sealer 613.</p> |
