<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a peracetic acid-based sterilizing detergent composition which has good sterilizing power and detergency, does not deteriorate a resin being a material for a vessel even when the composition is brought into contact with the resin for a long period of time, and is almost free from an irritating odor, in a peracetic acid-based sterilizing detergent composition in which a surfactant is blended. <P>SOLUTION: The sterilizing detergent composition includes, to 1 pts.mass of peracetic acid: 1.5-4 pts.mass of hydrogen peroxide; 10-20 pts.mass of acetic acid; 0.1-2 pts.mass of a nonionic surfactant represented by general formula (1) below; and water, wherein the concentration of the peracetic acid is 2.5 mass% or less on the basis of the total amount of the composition.
