PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antenna device capable of maintaining antenna performance, and avoiding a large size of an overall communication apparatus including the antenna device, when the antenna device is attached to a communication apparatus inside a dashboard of a vehicle.SOLUTION: An antenna device includes: a first metal plate 1; a second metal plate 2 having a first plane 2a set parallel to the first metal plate 1; and a power feeding element 1. A slot antenna 10 is formed of: the first metal plate 1; the second metal plate 2; and the feed element 3. The second metal plate 2 has two second planes 2b formed perpendicular to the first plane 2a. A gap between the two second planes 2b is set longer than a gap between one plane of the first metal plate 1 and the first plane 2a. Further, an area of the first metal plane 1 is greater than an area of the first plane 2a. An attachment section 1a for attaching to a communication apparatus is provided in a region of the first metal plate 1 where the slot antenna 10 is not formed. |
