PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pharmaceutical composition for treating withdrawal symptoms, side effects or both after the treatment with anti-depressants, selective serotonin inhibitors (SSRI) or other neurological agents, and to provide a pharmaceutical composition for treating one or more neurodegenerative diseases, one or more demyelination injuries or both, and to provide a pharmaceutical composition for treating pain associated with cancers, side effects after cancer therapy including the post chemical therapy cognitive impairment or both.SOLUTION: Provided is a pharmaceutical composition comprising N-2-hydroxy-ethyl-piperazine-N'-2-ethane sulfonate (HEPES) or a derivative thereof dissolved in sterilized water, a buffer, physiological saline or other pharmaceutically acceptable carrier. |
