<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide glass particles including BOand having an average particle size of 10-1000 nm.SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing glass particles comprises: preparing a uniform molten liquid consisting of a liquid phase A including 0.5-15 mol% of oxides (MO) selected from a group consisting of group 2-12 element oxides of InO, SnO, PbO, SbO, BiO, and TeOin total and 80-99 mol% of BO; causing the liquid phase A phase separation to form an emulsion being a composition consisting of a liquid phase B being a dispersion medium and a liquid phase C being a dispersoid; cooling the emulsion to solidify the liquid phase B and the liquid phase C into a solid phase B and a solid phase C being corresponding glasses, respectively; thereby obtaining a solid dispersed system having the solid phase C which is a dispersoid including MOat a mol concentration higher than that of the solid phase B and is dispersed in the solid phase B being the dispersion medium; treating the solid dispersed system by a solvent to the solid phase B to dissolve and remove the solid phase B and collect the solid phases C.</p> |
