<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electromagnetic cooker with further enhanced usability for a user.SOLUTION: This invention relates to an electromagnetic cooker provided with a plurality of heating units. At least one heating unit is capable of executing heating action in a selected heating stage from different heating stages. The electromagnetic cooker includes: a heating start and finish instruction means for instructing on, off of heating for respective heating units; and a control means in start operation starting heating of the operated and started heating unit by determining whether or not a new total consumed power assuming that consumed power for starting of the started and operated heating unit is added exceeds maximum consumed power capable of being applied to the electromagnetic cooker when the starting operation for heating is carried out in one of the heating start and finish instruction means and when exceeding, reducing the heating step in at least one of the heating units. The starting operation can be accepted regardless of the total consumed power before starting operation, so that usability for the user is enhanced.</p> |
