<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact optical device capable of providing high-precision control of an aperture opening in response to change in the aperture opening caused by zoom operation or an external command for changing the aperture opening.SOLUTION: An optical device includes; an optical system including a zoom lens group 103; an aperture diaphragm 106 for regulating light passing through the optical system; a zoom lens position detection unit 114 for detecting a position of the zoom lens group 103; an aperture diaphragm drive unit (aperture stepping motor 112) for controlling opening size of the aperture diaphragm 106; an aperture diaphragm control unit 124 which sets the opening size of the aperture diaphragm 106 by controlling the aperture diaphragm drive unit in accordance with the position of the zoom lens group 103 detected by the zoom lens position detection unit 114; and a storage unit 123 which stores a relationship between the position of the zoom lens group 103 and opening size of the aperture diaphragm 106. The aperture diaphragm control unit 124 sets the opening size of the aperture diaphragm 106 in accordance with output of the storage unit 123 and the position of the zoom lens group 103.</p> |
