PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To move lubricant in a rotation shaft direction of a fixing belt to make the amount of the lubricant uniform as much as possible in the rotation shaft direction of the fixing belt, and thereby extending the life of the fixing belt.SOLUTION: A fixing device according to the present invention includes: a fixing belt that is rotatably provided around a rotation shaft X; a pressure member that is arranged on the outer diameter side of the fixing belt, brought into pressure contact with the fixing belt to form a fixing nip, and rotatably provided; a pressing member that is arranged on the inner diameter side of the fixing belt and presses the fixing belt to the pressure member side; and a guide member 27 that brings the outer peripheral surface into contact with the inner peripheral surface of the fixing belt. The outer peripheral surface of the guide member 27 is provided with holding grooves 56 for holding lubricant along a direction inclined relative to the direction of rotation Y of the fixing belt. |
