PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tool exchange device in which rotation operation speed can be raised as much as possible while suppressing impact to a turret at the time of rotation operation upon tool exchange in the tool exchange device of the machine tool in that tool exchange is implemented by turret rotation operation.SOLUTION: In a tool exchange device in which a turret is configured to be capable of approaching to and separating from a main axis by rotation operation around a rotation axis, force applied to a turret mechanism part is calculated at each phase at the time of turret rotation operation, a rotation operation pattern is decided corresponding to the calculation result. By means of this, the optimum turret rotation speed can be decided for each phase of the turret, and tool exchange time can be shortened. |
