PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor capable of reducing a deterioration in work memory use efficiency and a memory band load during main memory access in the case of performing rotation processing of image data of multiple gradation in a rectangular block unit of squares.SOLUTION: The image processor includes a first memory 114 for storing image data, and a rotation processing part 119 for performing rotation processing by using image data transfer parts for reading the image data in a predetermined rectangular pixel unit and performing writing back, a second memory for storing a rectangular image data area, and a rotation part for performing control of writing and reading the image data read in the rectangular pixel unit. In the rotation processing part 119, one of the image data transfer parts performs burst transfer of data of the rectangular pixel with a length n in a continuous address direction of the first memory 114 in accordance with a bit gradation number n (n is a positive integer) of the image data, and stores n rectangular blocks composed of the rectangular pixels in the second memory to perform rotation processing. |
