<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an actuator installed between the flat car of the railroad vehicle and a vehicle body, and to effectively suppress rocking of the actuator around a central axis without increasing its scale. <P>SOLUTION: The actuator 5 includes a support body 63 fixed to a support part (flatcar side support part 11 or vehicle body side support part 21) provided to the flatcar 10 or vehicle body 20 of the railroad vehicle 1, an actuator 5 body supported around a connection point 24 to be rockable, and an elastic vibration isolation body 70 provided between the actuator body 5 and support body 63.
